ABSTRACT
This study aims to assess the Diploma Program of Dressmaking at Family Welfare Sciences of Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality at Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP FPP JIKK). The assessment used valuation models of context, input, batch- process and product (CIPP) by Stufflebeam et al. (1971). The populations of this study were alumni of diploma program of dressmaking of UNP JIKK FPP 2001 to 2010 with the total were 241 alumni. Quantitative approaches were used as the main approach to the study. A qualitative approach used interview techniques which were used to obtain quantitative explanations to some acquired. For quantitative research, it used a questionnaire with Likert scale. These instruments were measured by correlation value items. While the index of Cronbach Alpha Reliability used the value that indicates at the range of 0.70 to 0.97. Reliability item was high and acceptable. Quantitative data analysis used descriptive statistics. Perception of alumni towards the program objectives was appropriate for the purposes of the program. The suitability of the curriculum in achieving program objectives is consistent with a score of 3.94 and standard deviation 0:40. Approval of the teaching and learning process as a whole is agreed in achieving program objectives with a score of 3.88 and standard deviation 0:49. Adaptive research on the attitudes of Entrepreneurship, Skills Entrepreneur, entrepreneurship thinking and ability to recognize Business Opportunities alumni are on high stage (score min = 3.89 and SP 0.43). There were no differences in outcomes achieved significantly from the aspect of the attitude of Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneur Skills, Entrepreneurship thinking and ability recognizing Business Opportunities by neighbourhood. There were no significant differences in the results of the program from the aspect of entrepreneurship attitude, thinking of Entrepreneurship and ability to recognizing Business Opportunities by revenue father, but there are significant differences from the aspect of Entrepreneurship Skills based father’s revenue. There were no significant differences in the results of the program from the aspect of entrepreneurship attitude, entrepreneurial skills, Entrepreneurship thinking and ability recognizing Business Opportunities by father’s occupation.
